For the second year in a row, all signs point to a running back winning the NFL’s Offensive Player of the year award.
Who will be named the league’s top offensive star this season? Here’s a look at the latest odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 24.
NFL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR ODDS:
Saquon Barkley, Eagles RB: -1200 (bet $10 to win $10.83 total)
Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals WR: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
Josh Allen, Bills QB: +2800 (bet $10 to win $290 total)
Derrick Henry, Ravens RB: +2800 (bet $10 to win $290 total)
Barkley has been the consensus favorite for several weeks, even though Chase started making a late push.
Barkley leads the league in carries (314) and rushing yards (1,838) and is tied for third in rushing touchdowns (13). He took over the rushing yards lead with a 255-yard performance in a Week 12 win over the Rams and hasn’t looked back.
Philly has also now won 10 of its last 11.
Chase, who is second on the board, is first in the league in receptions (108), receiving yards (1,510) and receiving touchdowns (16).
