Everton are believed to be preparing a bid for a player who is enjoying a “simply phenomenal” season, according to a fresh transfer update.

Moyes eyeing ideal summer signings at Everton

David Moyes has turned around the Blues’ fortunes this season, staving off the threat of relegation and making supporters dream of more positive times ahead.

The Everton manager will know that reinforcements are needed in various positions this summer, however, in order for his side to go up a level. Semih Kilicsoy has been mentioned as a strong rumoured target for the Merseysiders, with the Besiktas forward also wanted by the likes of Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

A return to the Blues for Richarlison has even been mooted in recent weeks, with the Brazilian possibly leaving Tottenham in the summer transfer window. It does appear to be more unlikely than likely as things stand, though, because of his price tag and wage demands.

Another attacking player who has been linked with a switch to Everton is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, in what would be an audacious piece of business. The Serb has been a top-quality player for some time now, scoring 55 goals in 135 appearances for the Serie A giants.

Everton readying offer for “phenomenal” attacker

According to The Boot Room, Everton and The Friedkin Group are “readying a move” for Strasbourg teenager Emanuel Emegha this summer, seeing him as a potentially strong addition.

BlueCo, who own both Chelsea and Strasbourg, are “keen to cash in” while the 22-year-old’s “stock is high”, but it is noted that the Blues face competition for his signature.

Emegha isn’t yet the household name that some Everton supporters may dream of signing this summer, but that’s not to say that he wouldn’t be a great addition for Moyes.

The Dutchman has scored 11 goals in 21 matches in Ligue 1 this season, also chipping in with two assists, and football talent scout Jacek Kulig has hailed the “simply phenomenal” campaign that he is enjoying.

Emegha has also proven his worth on the international stage for the Netherlands, representing his country across four different age groups, including netting three times in seven caps for the Under-21s.

With doubts persisting over the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Everton beyond this summer, the Strasbourg youngster stands out as a great option to be his successor leading the line.

Emegha would be a long-term signing who can also hit the ground running from the off, proving to be the new attacking hero that Blues fans hope lights up their new stadium.
